How to Layer Clothing

hi everyone! Welcome back to Fashion Friday! As many know and are super excited for, it's finally fall! We're in the awkward transition where it's still warm out, but there are some chill days in the mix as well. It's too soon to bring out all the fall and winter clothes from the attic, but it's still getting a little chilly. So, I'm going to show you some layering ideas for the transition from summer to fall.

1) Scarfs

During the transition, scarfs of many different prints can make a more simple outfit more "fall-esque" and are super cozy! For me, it's still warm in North Carolina, but my classrooms are freezing! So, I'm starting to carry a light cardigan with me when I know I'm going to be sitting in lecture for 4 hours.

2) Thin Sweaters and Flannels

Flannels are the perfect item for those "in between days" where there's a little more nip in the air than yesterday. Pairing this with your favorite pair of jeans or leggings with some boots, and you have a perfect fall outfit! Keep this same concept for a thin sweater, add some gold hoops, and you're ready to go!

3) 3/4 Length and Long Sleeve Tops

These super comfy, lightweight tops are a must have for a layering piece! For those colder days, add a warm vest or a fuzzy scarf and you're ready for fall! Including warm tones like oranges, reds, and mustards are PERFECT shades for this time of year!
