How to Survive a Hectic Week

Hi everyone! Welcome back to Motivation Monday! Today I want to discuss how to stay motivated during a super busy week. This is very applicable for me currently, because I have three exams this week and several assignments and little tasks in between. In a super stressful week, the daily tasks can seem like one more thing on top of the major responsibilities. Like I mentioned in last week’s motivation blog, planning ahead on Sunday or Monday can really help with keeping your week organized and automatically less stressful. Getting as many of the daily chores out of the way prior to the major events or assignments will allow you to give your “100%” to those major tasks. Prioritizing is also a super important factor when trying to manage a stressful week. Knowing what needs to be completed first, and what can be done tomorrow gives a great sense of balance and stability. The simpler the tasks, the sooner they can be completed and are out of the way on the chore list. Though this busy time can seem like all work and no rest, be sure to take some time to yourself each day. Whether that’s journaling for ten minutes, going for a walk, painting your nails, or even meditation... taking time for yourself is vital. Loosing a sense of self can be really scary and is really easy to do during worrisome times. But, taking a few minutes to pause and relax can make the world of a difference in your mental health.
