Welcome to Beauty Wednesdays! Today I'll be discussing my five top drugstore makeup essentials that won't break the bank. Makeup is so much fun to test out and experiment with, but if you're a makeup addict like me, it can get very expensive with so many products being released on the market. I will also be listing some of my favorite affordable brands as well since I'm only selecting 5 specific product.
Product #1 is hands down an essential item that tops any of my high-end powders which is the Coty AirSpun Powder in "Translucent Extra Coverage", which is ONLY $5!!! This powder comes with 2.3 oz of product, which will last you several months and is essential for setting and "baking"! This product provides a matte finish to the skin and also sets any foundation and concealer applied before powder. I'm currently on my third container of this powder if that explains how absurd my obsession is. This powder is carried in Walmart, Walmart.com and Amazon.com .The only con to this powder is it has a fairly strong scent of old ladies but for whatever reason, I love the scent and is nostalgic for me when doing my makeup.
Product #2 is the BEST drugstore bronzer! The Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer released in 2017 and has become a cult favorite among many beauty influencers. I'm already on my 2nd container on this product as well!! This bronzer isn't a completely matte formula, the finish is almost a stain and more lifelike finish to the skin. The brand makes 4 shades for a variations of different skin tones. The product ranges from $11.00-$13.00. This item can be found at Walmart.com, Ulta.com, Amazon.com, and Target.com.
Product #3 is such a great affordable highlighter with a one-of-a-kind formula! The ColourPop Highlighters are so creamy, blendable, and blinding!! My favorite shade is "Flexitarian" which is a light, champagne highlight. This product can be found at colourpop.com for only $8!!!
Product #4 is the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick. This is an EXTREMELY full coverage foundation with a beautiful satin finish. A stick foundation makes applying foundation so much easier just by swiping the product on the skin and blending the product out with a brush or beauty sponge. A little goes a long way due to the creamy consistency and very high coverage. This product is only $9.00, comes in 18 different shades, and is found at ulta.com and revolutionbeauty.com.
Product #5 isn't really a product, but are makeup brushes! Morphe Brushes is now a very popular brand and known for their affordability and product quality. I recommend several of their different blending brushes and face brushes. These brushes can be found at MorpheBrushes.com
